Piastri dominates in Bahrain as Russell holds on to second

Ferrari dominated the Formula 1 race, with their drivers showcasing exceptional skill and strategy.

However, one of the Ferrari drivers had to reset the systems several times per lap due to technical issues, which led to an error involving the misuse of the Drag Reduction System (DRS).

The issue arose because the driver was unaware that the backup button would activate the DRS at that time.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen struggled in the Red Bull, the car’s lack of pace and balance evident on the demanding track.

Two slow pit stops further hindered his performance, one caused by a traffic-light system problem and another by a front wheel issue.

Pierre Gasly secured Alpine’s first points of the season with seventh place, while Esteban Ocon impressed in the Haas, driving from 15th on the grid to eighth after a heavy crash in qualifying.

Oliver Bearman’s Haas took 10th place, sandwiching Yuki Tsunoda’s Red Bull.
