Paulo Dybala nearing shocking Roma exit: Reports

Paulo Dybala. Files.

Rome: AS Roma superstar and Argentina world champion Paulo Dybala is reportedly very close to making a switch to the Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah FC, reported football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The undisclosed contract is expected to be for three years with talks are ongoing between the Saudi outfit and the Italian Serie A club.

Romano also reported that AS Roma were yet to still receive an offer from Al Qadsiah, while the Saudi club were in “advanced” talks with Dybala.

“Negotiations continue while value of Al Qadsiah bid will be crucial step to understand if deal gets done,” noted Romano through his X account.

However, RomaPress, a leading online source for English-language AS Roma news, reported that Dybala was involved in a regular training session on Wednesday, and that the Italian club had denied authorizing transfer talks between the player and the Saudi club.

RomaPress had previously reported that “Roma authorized the Argentine player to negotiate with Al Qadsiah” before refuting the news in an updated story.

Paulo Dybala arrived at Roma after a stellar seven-year-long career spent at local rival club Juventus, and has quickly become a favorite among the red and yellow’s fanbase.
