Qatar’s Talal Al Marri clinches bronze at 13th International Youth Friendship Bowling Championship

Doha: Talal Al Marri of Qatar secured the bronze medal in the youth masters category on Saturday, marking the conclusion of the 13th International Youth Friendship Bowling Championship.

This five-day event was hosted by the Qatar Bowling Federation at the Qatar Bowling Center.

The tournament featured a total of 64 participants, comprising 40 males and 24 females from seven nations: Sweden, Finland, Colombia, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Peru, and the host nation, Qatar.

In the boys’ division, Emil Svensson from Sweden emerged as the champion, claiming the gold medal, while Jaroslav Zapletal from the Czech Republic took the silver medal. David Mojka, also from the Czech Republic, finished in fourth place, followed by Sweden’s Robin Jackobsson in fifth, and Qatar’s Masaed Al Muraikhi in sixth.

In the girls’ division, Ivanna Erosa from Mexico won the gold medal. Lova Nilsson from Sweden secured the silver, while Sofia Victoria from Colombia earned the bronze in third place. Doris Lundsten from Sweden finished fourth, also receiving a bronze medal.

At the conclusion of the events, Abdullah Sultan Al Qattan, President of the Qatar Bowling Federation, and Bandar Al Shafi, Secretary General of the Federation, presented awards to the top four finishers in the masters competition.
