Rashford uncertain about Man Utd future

Marcus Rashford is unlikely to play for Manchester United again under Ruben Amorim, sources close to the player have revealed.

Rashford’s loan deal at Aston Villa expires at the end of the season, and while his United contract runs until 2028, a return to Old Trafford seems improbable.

Amorim’s comments after Rashford’s loan move suggested he struggled to adapt to the coach’s style, saying, “I couldn’t get Marcus to see the way you’re supposed to play football and to train the way I see it.”

United will need to decide whether to sell Rashford or loan him out again this summer.

However, Rashford has ruled out moving to London and would ideally join a Champions League-qualified club. He has no plans to discuss his future until mid-June.

Rashford’s performances at Aston Villa have been significant, contributing four goals and six assists in 17 games.

He has earned a recall to the England national team and impressed with his performance against Paris St-Germain.

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is pleased with Rashford’s progress, praising his adaptation and commitment.

The club’s FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace on Saturday will be a crucial test for Rashford and Villa, who are also battling for a Champions League spot.
