Doha: Qatar’s men national volleyball team has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games qualifiers.
This qualification comes due to Qatar’s team being among the best 25 volleyball teams in the world and this is the first participation of Qatari teams in such qualifiers.
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced the world rankings for the best teams in the world earlier as the first mens national team ranked 25th according to the recent positive results achieved, surpassing several prestigious teams such as: China, Korea and Australia from Asia, and Portugal, Croatia, Spain and Slovakia from Europe.
The national team participated in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship held in Slovenia and Poland and also participated in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Challenger Cup held in Seoul, South Korea.
