Paris, France: Paris Saint-Germain’s Portuguese forward Goncalo Ramos will be out for three months as he is in need of ankle surgery, the club announced.
This news comes a day after PSG’s 4-1 victory against Le Havre in their Ligue 1 opener.
Ramos, who joined the French champions for 90 million Euros from his home-country club Benfica last summer, was forced to leave the game just 20 minutes in due to injury.
“He has a severe ankle ligament injury that will require surgery in the coming days,” stated the club.
