Al Khor to meet Al Ahli, Al Rayyan clashes with Qatar SC in Basketball League

Doha: The tenth round of the 2024-2025 Qatar Basketball League season will conclude with two critical matches today (Wednesday) at the QBF Indoor Hall. The first game will feature Al Khor facing off against Al Ahli at 5:00 pm, followed by a highly anticipated clash between Al Rayyan and Qatar Club at 7:00 pm.

Al Khor and Al Ahli: A Chance to Enhance Rankings

In the opening game, Al Khor, currently at the bottom of the standings with 9 points from 8 games, aim to secure their second victory of the season as they strive to move away from the last position. Conversely, Al Ahli, positioned fourth with 13 points from 8 matches, seek to solidify their standing among the top four teams and contend for higher rankings, particularly as they have a postponed game that could provide an opportunity for further advancement.

Al Rayyan and Qatar SC –  A struggle for the top and ambition

The second game features Al Rayyan, the current leader of the standings, facing off against Qatar SC, which are positioned sixth with 13 points accrued from 9 matches.

Al Rayyan enter this round at the pinnacle of the standings, having amassed 17 points from 9 matches.

The team has demonstrated remarkable consistency this season, attributed to their exceptional performance and robust lineup. Al Rayyan are determined to extend their winning streak to secure their top position and increase the lead over their nearest rival, Al Sadd, currently in second place with 16 points.

Conversely, Qatar SC are eager to secure a favorable outcome that would enhance their point total and elevate their standing in the league. It is important to highlight that Al Rayyan SC leads the overall standings with 17 points from 9 games, followed closely by Al Sadd in second with 16 points from the same number of games.

Al Shamal hold third place with 14 points from 9 games, while Al Ahli are in fourth with 13 points from 8 games. Al Gharafa occupy fifth place with 13 points from 10 games, and Qatar SC are in sixth with 13 points from 9 games.

Al Arabi are positioned seventh with 13 points from 8 games, Al Wakrah are eighth with 12 points from 10 games, and Al Khor sit at the bottom of the standings with 9 points from 8 games.
