Tsitsipas beats Auger-Aliassime to win Dubai final

Stefanos Tsitsipas claimed his first ATP 500 title with a dominant straight-set victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The 26-year-old Greek put on a commanding performance, defeating his in-form Canadian opponent 6-3, 6-3.

Tsitsipas, who had reached the Dubai final twice before—losing to Novak Djokovic in 2019 and Roger Federer the following year—finally clinched his first title at this level on Saturday.

This victory marks Tsitsipas’ 12th career tour-level title and his biggest outdoor hard-court trophy to date.

The world number 11 triumphed in one hour and 28 minutes over Auger-Aliassime, who has been leading the ATP Tour this season with 16 match wins and two titles. With the win, Tsitsipas will return to the top 10 in the world rankings on Monday for the first time in over a year.
