Celtic secure 4th consecutive Scottish title

Celtic have been crowned Scottish Premiership champions for the fourth consecutive season, winning their 13th title in 14 years.

Brendan Rodgers’ side swept aside Dundee United 5-0 at Tannadice, with Nicolas Kuhn scoring twice and Adam Idah adding a second-half double.

The win marks Rodgers’ 11th honor as Celtic manager, making him the most decorated living manager in the club’s history.

Celtic dominated the league, scoring 100 Premiership goals this season, and look set to surpass their 2016-17 season tally of 106 goals with five games remaining.

The title win puts Celtic two-thirds of the way to a sixth treble in nine seasons, showcasing their consistent high achievement.

Meanwhile, Dundee United’s promising start was derailed by a collapse after Celtic took the lead, but manager Jim Goodwin will take heart from his team’s early performance and the potential for a European spot.
