Zurich: FIFA and Qatar Airways have unveiled a new agreement that designates the premium airline as the Official Airline Partner of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup™. This multiple award-winning airline will join a select group of leading brands on the grand stage of global football and will be prominently featured in the tournament’s branding, while also providing fans with exclusive experiences during the event.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed, “We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Qatar Airways as we enter this thrilling new phase with the FIFA Club World Cup – a truly momentous occasion for world football.”

“Their commitment to excellence and their ability to connect individuals globally make them the ideal partner for this remarkable new tournament, which will gather 32 of the world’s elite clubs for a celebration unlike any we have witnessed before. For the first time, club football will unite the world – and Qatar Airways will play a crucial role in facilitating this.”

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group, stated: “The new agreement with FIFA emphasizes our core values – collaborating with the pinnacle of football to bring fans closer to the action. Qatar Airways’ involvement in this groundbreaking tournament transcends mere branding; we aim to enhance the fan experience and connect them through our extensive global network of over 170 destinations, including 13 gateways in the United States. We take pride in our presence and our role in uniting players, officials, and fans through the power of football and global travel.”

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will see 32 of the world’s top clubs compete across 12 venues in the United States. The drama kicks off on Saturday, 14 June, with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami CF facing Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium. The action-packed month will culminate in what promises to be a historic final in New York New Jersey on Sunday, 13 July.

In addition to its partnership with FIFA, Qatar Airways sponsors participating clubs Paris Saint-Germain and FC Internazionale Milano, who will begin their FIFA Club World Cup journeys in Los Angeles on Sunday, 15 June and Tuesday, 17 June respectively.

For the first time ever, each of the 32 participating teams will be competing for the title of the greatest club team in world football. Every match at the tournament will be broadcast live and for free on DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform.
