QBF announces dates and venue for first edition of Qatar Basketball Super Cup

Doha: The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) is thrilled to unveil the schedule and venue for the inaugural Qatar Basketball Super Cup for the 2025-2026 season.

Th tournament, marking the official start of the new sports season, will take place at the state-of-the-art Lusail Multipurpose Indoor Arena and feature four top-tier teams: Al Arabi, Al Rayyan, Al Sadd, and Al Ahli.

The Super Cup will commence on Monday, October 13, 2025, with Al Rayyan facing Al Ahli at 5:30 PM, followed by a clash between Al Sadd and Al Arabi at 7:30 PM, both at Lusail Arena. The tournament will conclude on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, with the final match pitting the winners of the two opening games against each other at 6:30 PM at the same venue.

The QBF emphasized that the Super Cup aligns with its vision to elevate local competitions, enhance the technical readiness of clubs ahead of the new season, and boost fan engagement to promote Qatar’s vibrant basketball scene.

The federation warmly invites fans and basketball enthusiasts to attend and support their teams, promising thrilling matches showcasing the nation’s top basketball talent.
