The agreement was formalised by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the OCA, and Abraham Tolentino, President of the Philippine Olympic Committee.

The signing underscores the OCA’s continued commitment to advancing beach sports across Asia and expanding opportunities for nations to host major continental events, further strengthening the Asian Olympic Movement.
