Barcelona eye move for Kanté

Barcelona are considering France midfielder N’Golo Kanté as a potential signing this summer, Diario Sport reports.

Kante, 33, joined Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad last summer on a free transfer after his contract with Chelsea expired.

However, he has hinted he would like to return to play in Europe and there are several clubs, including Barca, West Ham and Atletico Madrid, interested in his services.

Barca sporting director Deco has always been an admirer of Kanté, who was one of the top players for France at Euro 2024, and a move could fall within their financial parameters.
