Doha: Al Ahli achieved an important victory over Al Khor team with a score of (64-61) in the match that was held on Monday evening at Al Gharafa Hall, in the opening matches of the Qatar General Basketball League for the 2024-2025 sports season.
The results of the four periods were as follows: (19-18), (17-21), (9-17), (19-5), as Al Ahli was able to end the game in their favor by a difference of only three points.
With this victory, Al Ahli earned their first two points in the competition, while Al Khor earned one point. Ali Mansour was the best scorer for Al Ahli with 17 points, while Billy Joel Hardy, Al Khor player, topped the list of scorers in the game with 25 points.
Al Ahli is scheduled to face Al Sadd team in its next game on the evening of December 7 in the second round of the league, and on the same day, Al-Khor will play their next game against Al Arabi, the title holder.
