Al Rayyan 2-1 Al Wakrah
Al Rayyan came froma goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over Al Wakrah in Week 19 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on Tuesday.
Gregore da Silvae (69th minute) and Roger Guedes (85th minute) got the goals for Al Rayyan while Yusuf Abdurisag (29th minute) netted for the visitors.
The Blue Wave opened the scoring through Abdurisag, who scored a sensational bicycle kick in the 29th minute off a headed assist by Aissa Laidouni.
The second half was, however, a different ball game as Al Rayyan’s Brazilian defensive midfielder, Gregore da Silvae, restored parity for The Lions against all odds, riffling home a right-footed banger from outside 25 yards out, which evaded all contacts before settling in the top right-hand corner of goalkeeper Saoud Mubarak’s net.
The situation further moved in favour of the hosts with five minutes to go in regulation time as Roger Guedes put them ahead with a fantastic header from the centre of the box from Khaled Ali’s cross.
The results moved Al Rayyan to 31 points with three matches left, while Al Wakrah are stuck on 23 points.
Al Arabi 2-1 Al Sadd

Al Arabi produced two late goals and in a span of six minutes to beat a 10-men Al Sadd 2-1 in a thrilling Week 19 clash of the 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Khalifa International Stadium on Tuesday.
Pablo Sarabia (82nd minute) and Isaac Lihadji (88th minute) struck superbly for The Dream Team after Roberto Firmino (54th minute) had provided Al Sadd the lead.
Al Sadd’s Ahmed Suhail was given the marching orders in the 41st minute after he pulled down a charging Lihadji.
Despite the disadvantage, defending champions Al Sadd took charge as Firmino headed home a superb Akram Afif free-kick taken from just outside the box on the right.
Al Arabi equalized with Sarabia brilliantly half-volleying a Jordan Veretout cross for the ball to sail over a leaping Al Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham.
Al Arabi hit back again with Lihadj making a robust header after a defence deflection to beat a diving Barsham in the left corner.
Earlier in the 17th min, Afif hit the crossbar and in the following action Rafa Mujica pushed the ball just inside the line as custodian Jassim Al Hail made a scramble. The goal was stood down for the player being off-side.
There was more drama (45+6 minute) as Mujica headed in an Afif free-kick but the VAR found Boualem Khoukhi to be off-side.
It was Al Sadd’s second successive loss but they still lead the table with 38 points while Al Arabi moved up to 28 points.
Al Shamal 1-3 Al Duhail

Al Duhail defeated Al Shamal 3-1 in their Week 19 match of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd Club on Tuesday.
Edmilson Junior (51st minute), Adil Boulbina (90th minute), and Krzysztof Piatek (90th + 6 minute) scored for Al Duhail, who advanced to 27 points, after Baghdad Bounedjah had opened the scoring for Al Shamal in the 40th minute.
Bounedjah took advantage of the rebound from an Omid Ebrahimi’s right-footed shot, which was parried onto his path by Salah Zakaria, to put Al Shamal, who remained on 34 points, ahead in the 40th minute of the encounter.
Al Duhail’s second-half pressure got rewarded six minutes into the half with Edmilson Junior finding the back of the net with a right-footed shot from the right side of the box to the top left corner from a precise pass by Piatek.
The Red Knights then snatched the winner at the stroke of regulation time through Boulbina, who superbly finished off a fast break after being perfectly set up by goalkeeper Zakaria, before Piąte put the icing on the cake six minutes later.
