Over 1,200 participants turn out for Lusail International Circuit’s enhanced mixed training day

Doha:  Lusail International Circuit (LIC) successfully hosted a vibrant and upgraded edition of its popular Mixed Training Day, welcoming more than 1,200 runners, walkers, and cyclists to its world-famous 5.38 km track.

The event transformed the same asphalt that hosts Formula 1®, MotoGP™, and the Qatar 1812 KM WEC into an inclusive evening playground for the community, reinforcing LIC’s vision of making the circuit a year-round destination for active living and wellness.

A More Dynamic Experience Running from 18:00 to 21:00, the enhanced edition featured several exciting new additions that elevated the atmosphere:

  • Curated healthy food and beverage vendors offering performance-focused nutrition
  • Dedicated sports recovery stations for post-activity care
  • Engaging fitness activations and entertainment zones suitable for all ages

Participants enjoyed a unique and energizing opportunity to train on one of the world’s most iconic motorsport venues in a safe, scenic, and festive evening setting.

Community Spirit at the Forefront Beyond physical activity, Mixed Training Day served as a lively social hub where sport, wellness, and community connection came together. The strong turnout highlights growing demand for accessible, high-quality active experiences in Qatar.

Save the Date – Mixed Training Day Returns The event is free of charge, open to all ages and fitness levels, and held regularly at Lusail International Circuit.

  • Children under 15 must be registered by a parent or guardian
  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
