Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Awards Board has confirmed the final shortlist for the 2025–26 season following the completion of voting, auditing, and ratification procedures.
In the Best Player category, Al Rayyan’s Roger Guedes is joined by Al Sadd star Akram Afif and Al Shamal striker Baghdad Bounedjah.

The race for Best Coach features David Prats of Al Shamal, Vicente Moreno of Al Rayyan, and Al Sadd’s Roberto Mancini.

For Best Goalkeeper, the nominees are Jassim Al Hail (Al Arabi), Mahmoud Abunada (Al Rayyan), and Meshaal Barsham (Al Sadd). Meanwhile, the Best U-23 Player shortlist includes Mubarak Shanan of Al Duhail, Ayoub Al Alawi of Al Gharafa, and Mohammed Mannaei of Al Shamal.

The Mansour Muftah Top Scorer Award has already been decided, with Al Rayyan forward Roger Guedes securing the accolade after scoring 21 goals in the Doha Bank Stars League season.
Winners in the non-voting categories — Football for All, Best Refereeing Team, and Best Stand — will be announced during the awards ceremony scheduled for May 11.
