Qatar Sports for All Federation launches new women’s indoor track race series at Aspire Zone

By Staff Reporter

Doha: The Qatar Sports for All Federation (QSAF) has announced a new edition of its popular women’s indoor track race series, set to take place at Aspire Zone throughout June 2026.

The series will consist of four weekly rounds on June 6, 13, 20, and 26, offering women and girls of all age groups the opportunity to participate in friendly yet competitive timed races. Participants will compete to complete the highest number of laps within their designated time, with winners determined accordingly in each category.

In addition to the races, the program includes structured warm-up sessions and recreational activities, all supervised by qualified female coaches in a safe and supportive environment.

QSFA Executive Direcror Abdullah Al Dosari highlighted the importance of the initiative:

“These races form an important part of our women-focused sports calendar. They play a key role in encouraging active lifestyles and greater community engagement among women and girls. Aspire Zone’s excellent indoor facilities provide the perfect setting for year-round sports participation, regardless of the weather.”

The event aligns with the Federation’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive sports participation, empower women through physical activity, and foster a healthier, more active society in Qatar.
