Doha: Al Duhail claimed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Al Gharafa in Week 20 of the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League at Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday.
Almoez Ali netted the decisive goal in the first minute of added time to secure all three points for The Red Knights, who moved to 30 points, while Al Gharafa stayed on 34.
The match produced four goals in a pulsating first half. Mubarak Shanan gave Al Duhail an early lead in the seventh minute, heading in from close range after a rebound. Al Gharafa responded in the 26th minute as Aladin Hasan nodded home from a Yacine Brahimi free-kick.
Edmilson Junior restored Al Duhail’s advantage in the 37th minute with a powerful low strike, but Ferjani Sassi equalised on the stroke of half-time.
With both sides locked at 2-2, the contest remained finely poised until Ali struck late to seal a hard-fought win.
