New York: Excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues to grow with the release of Dai Dai, the latest official tournament song featuring Shakira and Burna Boy through Sony Music Latin. Now available across major streaming platforms, the track captures the passion, energy and global spirit expected to define football’s biggest spectacle.
Dai Dai has been unveiled as the Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Song in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100m by the end of the tournament to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
As part of the initiative, Shakira is partnering with Global Citizen and FIFA to support underserved communities, with her royalties from the song set to be donated to the Education Fund. Sony Music will also match the first $250,000 raised through an additional contribution.
Shakira is also scheduled to co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final Halftime Show on July 19, marking the first halftime show in FIFA World Cup history. The event will unite leading global artists in a celebration combining sport, music and social impact, while further supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
The release follows previously launched singles including Lighter, Por Ella, Echo and Illuminate, all part of the upcoming Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album. Additional tracks are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks as anticipation for the tournament continues to rise.
